Mary King

Mary King MBE is a stalwart of the British Eventing team having represented her country at six Olympic Games, as well as numerous world and European championships. A former world number one, Mary has won Badminton, Burghley, Kentucky and the British Open title at Gatcombe.

Born in 1961 to unhorsey parents, she learnt to ride on the vicar’s pony, before starting her eventing career with Sheila Wilcox. She is well known for her amazing smile and has a huge fan base. Mary is married with two children, Freddie and Emily. Emily is also a successful event rider.
